Global Prayer Focus: Corona Virus and Endangered Children
As of March 25, the Governor has issued a stay at home order. This means that everyone should stay home unless they have good reason to be out. In order to keep our staff safe we are asking that no one come to the office unless they have good reason. If you are dropping off your offering, just stick it in the mail box located to the right of the double doors in the parking lot. If you have food or other items for the church to drop off, simply, place them on the floor right inside the entrance. We'll carry them up and put them where they belong. Kim is still working, but that might change as things worsen. Feel free to call, email, or write to the church. We are still open and want to minister to you as you desire. Pastor Mark is not initiating visits right now, but if you need a visit please call. I will always be there for you.
On a different note, we want everyone to still feel connected to their church family. We are challenging you to make five phone calls, emails, texts, or cards to your fellow attenders of First Church. Ask how they are doing and if they have needs. Let's keep our relationships with each other healthy and strong even in the midst of the pandemic. We had a week of Random Acts of Kindness earlier. This is Intentional Acts of Kindness! What can you do, following the Stay at Home Order to touch the lives of your brothers and sisters in Christ?
Stay well, Pastor Mark
