Missions and Outreach
The Missions and Outreach Committees work to reach out to the community of Lowell, to our country, and to the world by serving God and helping others.   Both committees strive to put God's love into action.

In the Lowell community;
Outreach sponsors several FREE events including:
**The outdoor Kidz Karnival in July that offers carnival games, food, horse-back rides, a dunk tank, Bingo, face-paintng and many more fun activities for all ages.

** Movie Nights inside the church Fellowship Hall featuring kid-friendly movies, free popcorn and drinks.

** Breakfast Treats on Labor Day in conjunction with the annual Lowell Labor Day Parade.

Missions sponsors local projects including:

The Household Pantry, housed at our church, which serves families within the Tri Creek School District boundaries by providing paper products, household cleaners, and personal care products.  See the separate page on this website for details.

The Christmas Clothesline mission project that helps local parents provide clothing and other gifts for their children at Christmas time.

A Spring or Summer Mission Event that gives church families a chance to do a mission each day for a week - from donating items to the Household Pantry, contacting a shut-in, assisting a neighbor, to treating those who serve our community to a plate of cookies.

Outside our community of Lowell, our missons include participation in and/or support of:

Habitat for Humanity
**Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes
The Tree of Life Mission at the Redbud Indian Reservation in South Dakota
